More Information: Adding 10-20% of Zinc White to the linseed oil paint creates a slightly harder surface, which is less susceptible to dirt build up. It also makes the linseed oil paint flow nicely in addition to decreasing the paint dry time. (10-20% purified organic triple boiled linseed oil can also be added to the linseed oil paint to increase and maintain the gloss longer while creating a surface that is less susceptible to dirt build-up.) Zinc white and the triple boiled linseed oil can be added together. Always test the linseed oil products before embarking on a project. Never add any chemicals to the linseed oil paint as it may NOT be compatible with organic linseed oil. Always apply thin coats of organic linseed oil paint since it is 100% dry weight and nothing evaporates as it is applied.
