Ingredients:
Binder: Boiled, coldpressed Swedish linseed-oil
Pigment: Mineral pigment, Chalk
Drier: Manganese
Coverage: The coverage of Linseed paint is about twice that
of any acrylic paint. Apply thin coats. Linseed oil paint goes a
long way. Use a short stiff natural bristle brush. Our hand made
Swedish natural paint brushes work
very well with Linseed oil paint.
1 Liter - 170 Square ft
3 Liter - 510 square ft
1 Gallon - 600 Square ft ( For comparison only, gallon size not
available )
When to paint: Paint in 50 degree ambient temperature or
warmer. Cold temperatures will slow the drying time. Indoors, make
sure you ventilate well. Linseed paint will cure faster with ample
air circulation. High humidity does not play a major roll in the
drying of linseed oil paint.
How to paint: Apply thin coats of purified organic raw linseed
oil on dry wood ( dry meaning wood that is void of any natural oil
that protects wood from rot). Apply 2 or 3 coats of paint depending
on the surface. Maintain the linseed oil painted surface with purified
organic boiled linseed oil when the surface looks dry. Paint can
be applied directly on to raw wood, metal or plastic that is clean
and dry. Always do a test on a small area before starting a project
to ensure the result you desire. Use a short stiff natural bristle
brush. Our hand made Swedish natural
paint brushes work very well with Linseed oil paint. Use the
organic Linseed soap for removing
mildew and dirt.
